Bricon has been retained to act as general contractor for the extension of Highway 35 (Phase II) between Route 133 and the Brochets river. This colossal 4km project included new highway infrastructure, an overpass and several culverts, not to mention all the environmental protection management. The project was completed in nearly two years, making it one of the company’s major projects. Bricon is proud to have made this project a success.

Casavant Boulevard Project in St-Hyacinthe

Bricon completed the Casavant Boulevard West extension project, the construction of its infrastructure as well as the construction of a substation and a pumping station. The pumping station had more than one challenge: a wet well with a depth of eleven meters, in addition to a dry well (Technical Building) including the process mechanics. We are proud to have completed this project on time and on budget.

As part of the construction of the company’s gigantic order preparation center in Sherbrooke, Bricon handled all civil and excavation work. This large-scale project represented a challenge in several respects, including compliance with LEED standards and the management of tight deadlines. Girouard substation project in St-Hyacinthe

Bricon has been awarded the contract for the rehabilitation of the Girouard substation with the city of St-Hyacinthe. This project includes the construction of a brand new 44-foot deep pump station parallel to the existing station. Its construction required the installation of a sheet pile support. The project also includes the installation of a new outfall to the Yamaska River as well as 400m of 600mm force main on Girouard Boulevard East near the treatment plant. On this project, Bricon acts as the general contractor and coordinates the numerous subcontractors for all disciplines.

John Molson Street Project in St-Hubert

Bricon completed the extension of John Molson Street in St-Hubert including the installation of underground conduits and lighting for 1.1km as well as upgrading the existing portion of the road. As project manager, Bricon and his teams coordinated with the various trades to ensure that all work was completed on time and on budget.
